Blood
Pressure Technique:
Oscillometric measurement of systolic, diastolic and mean
arterial pressure and pulse rate.
Cuff Inflation Adjustment Range:
Adult/Pediatric: 100 to 250 mmHg; 5 mmHg increments
Neonate: 100 to 140 mmHg; 5 mmHg increments
Cuff Pressure Range:
Adult/Pediatric: 0 to 290 mmHg
Neonate: 0 to 140 mmHg
Automatically released if error condition is detected, power
fails, or unit is switched off.
Target Inflation Pressure Range:
User-selectable cuff inflation pressure
Adult/Pediatric: nominally 160 mmHG
Neonate: nominally 110 mmHg
Determination Time:
20 seconds to 45 seconds typical
Adult - 120 secs maximum
Neonate - 85 secs maximum
Accuracy:
Meets or exceeds SP 10-1992 AAMI standards
Pressure Preset Levels:
Resolutions of 5 mmHg up to Maximum Adult/Neonate limits
Systolic Determinations:
Adult: Max: 245 mmHg; Min: 30 mmHg
Neonate: Max: 140 mmHg; Min: 40 mmHg
Diastolic Determinations:
Adult: Max: 195 mmHg; Min: 10 mmHg
Neonate: Max: 100 mmHg; Min: 20 mmHg
MAP Determinations:
Adult: Max: 215 mmHg; Min: 15 mmHg
Neonate: Max: 115 mmHg; Min: 30 mmHg
Operating Modes:
AUTOMATIC, STAT, MANUAL Modes. Press START/STOP key to
cancel.
Automatic Mode (Blood Pressure)
Cycle Time:
Preset at 3 minutes. User can select blood pressure
determination frequency in varied increments between 1 and
120 minutes or operate by manual intervention. The result of
the most recent determination will be displayed for up to 90
minutes (AUTO) or 2 minutes (MANUAL).
Stat Mode:
Rapid BP determination with early systolic display within
5-minute period.
Pulse Rate Range:
Adult/Pediatric: 30 - 200 BPM
Neonate: 30 200 BPM
Pulse Rate Accuracy:
BP±3.5%
Overpressure Cut-off:
Adult/Pediatric: 300 - 330 mmHg
Neonate: 150 - 165 mmHg
System
Alarm Functions:
Brief alarm test at power turn-on, alarm for no
determination and a continuous alarm for microprocessor
failure. Audible alarms with diagnostic codes displayed in
pulse rate window for system failure.
Patient Alarm Functions:
Systolic: Preset at 30 mmHg low and 180 mmHg high
Diastolic: Preset at 15 mmHg low and 130 mmHg high
MAP:
Preset at 50 mmHg low and 140 mmHg high for adult/pediatric
and neonate
Pulse Rate:
Preset at 40 BPM low and 160 BPM high
SpO2 Alarm Limits:
Preset at off (100%) high and 90% low.
Range: High 51-100% (100% = off)
Low 50-99%
Alarm Indicators:
LED with audio alarm silence key. LED only flashes if audio
alarm silenced and an alarm condition exists. Diagnostic
data indicated on LCD.
