Comprehensive
capability made easy

The CASE system's backlit keyboard and lighted work surface make it easier than ever to monitor patients in rooms darkened for stress echo studies.

Innovative ergonomics
What you'll notice first about the CASE system are all the ergonomic enhancements it offers - enhancements you won't find on any other stress-testing system. For instance:
  • A centrally-mounted, full-size monitor, backlit keyboard, and well-lit printing surface - all exclusive features - make for effortless and confident operation in rooms darkened for stress echo tests.
  • The vertical, eye-level monitor swivels for
    comfortable viewing.
  • A familiar, Windows' NT-based interface
    minimizes the learning curve.
  • Dedicated hard keys and user-defined protocols make short work of just about any exam.
  • A flexible interface accommodates multiple custom set-ups to meet the review and reporting preferences of any physician.
  • A compact footprint eliminates the coat-closet effect most other systems have on space-constrained stress labs.
Stressing clinical utility
Through a variety of powerful analysis tools and easy-to-use applications, the CASE system delivers the information you need to optimize clinical decision making - including:
  • Robust analysis and measurement algorithms, multi-lead arrhythmia detection and improved QRS detection to help enhance diagnostic confidence.
  • Advanced assessment tools, such as the proven 12SL computer-interpreted, 12-lead ECG analysis for pre-stress evaluations.
  • Across-the-board, 15-lead capability for thorough assessment of localized abnormalities.
  • Signal-acquisition advances and innovative filtering for clear, well-defined ECGs even in the high-noise stress environment.
  • User-adjustable controls and gain settings for performance fine-tuning.
  • Flexibility to let you complete tasks in the most comfortable manner - for example, by using pull-down menus, dedicated keys, or mouse clicks.
The capabilities you need
today and tomorrow

The CASE system's open architecture means we can configure a solution to meet the needs of virtually any facility, from high-throughput, multi-modality stress labs to small offices that run exercise tests only occasionally. Select the capabilities you need today, and add more as your applications evolve. Among the options:
  • Full disclosure to ensure a thorough review of the complete stress test, with no events missed.
  • Duke Treadmill Score for patient
  • Incremental updating for accurate and
    consistent measurements.
  • Cubic spline for important baseline-wander
    control.
  • Automatic arrhythmia detection to assure that no event goes undocumented.
  • Resting ECG analysis to extend your
    system's clinical flexibility.
  • FRF (Finite Residual Filtering) for clean,
    clear data display.

Customized dress reports make it easy to customize final reports using key data from the original tests, along with physician interpretations and conclusions. Reports can be exported as an Adobe PDF or Microsoft' Word document to address clinical or business needs, including billing.

Median Exercise Scan allows users to view selected medians and real time rhythms during testing to ensure the accuracy of all measurements.

Auto-Arrhythmia detects, stores and annotates significant patient arrhythmias throughout each test. Significant arrhythmias are highlighted in red during the test.

Lead-Check Display permits accurate pre-test. as well as in-test assessment of lead Placement, to help ensure waveform fidelity

High-productivity
networking

The CASE system also leverages GE Medical Systems' leadership in healthcare information management to offer you a range of advanced networking capabilities:

  • Bi-directional network communications let physicians access MUSE-stored patient records and HIS data from just about anywhere, through secure enterprise-wide networking.

  • The ability to export data in formats from Adobe PDF files to Microsoft Word documents means easy communication with physicians working remotely, even on different platforms.
  • The ability to export XML and ASCII measurement data lets you provide colleagues in other disciplines with information to fold into their own reports and research efforts.
  • Comprehensive, MUSE-based data management lets you retrieve reports stored on the MUSE system - even echo and nuclear procedure reports.
